The Belice Valley is the territory of delimited by the two arms of the river Belice. The Valley is located in western Sicily and occupies an area within the provinces of Palermo, Trapani and Agrigento.
Inhabited since prehistoric times and rich in archaeological sites, today as a result of the earthquake that struck the entire region in 1968 it has been rebuilt and become object of attention by international artists. The Cretto by Burri is the most important work of land art in the world.
The area produces excellent raw materials like olives Nocellara of Belice (PDO), and the sheep's milk cheese “vastedda” of Belice Valley, produced mostly in summer.
Today the Valley is the natural destination for all travelers, who search the unspoilt Mediterranean nature and historical settlements rich in art.
Thanks to its central position, Feudo del Biviere is the starting point to discover the whole Valley and western Sicily.
